We are one of the fastest growing economy, ranked at 5th. At the same time, our SDG ranking is 112 out of 166, and that of HDI is 134 out of 193 nations.
It's clear that we have a challenge of addressing widespread inequality in terms of wealth, knowledge and opportunities to prosper.
We are looking at organizing employee volunteering engagements mainly to do our bit of addressing the inequality.
-- It may help to have innovative employee engagement and retention for companies.
-- Active participation of individual employees can help in reducing inequalities.
-- Employees can get new insights, learnings and exposure to social development.
Agroforestry :
1.Do you know how a coconut sapling looks like? or Pomogranate, Lemon? No? Then come, join us and learn about 10+ varieties of fruit saplings.
2.You can actually help us in giving these saplings to individual farmers to improve his income.
3.You can engage with nature in carrying out the plantation exercise as well.
4.Get to know about the how the life of a farmer will be by participating in the survey of farmers in selecting the right farmer.
5.Contribute in upskilling the farmers by participating in organizing and conducting the training for farmers
6.Want to know how climate smart agricultural practices can help in improving the livelihood of farmers? You can participate in distributing the kits to farmers at their village and see how climate smart agricultural practices are helping the farmers.
7.You can also help individual farmers to improve their livelihood with small
donations to buy chickens, goat, sheep or cow.
Biochar :
•Do you know, the conversion of natural ecosystems to agriculture has resulted in depletion of Soil Organic Carbon releasing 50 to 100 GT to environment?
•It's time, we do something about it, right?
By Volunteering, You can learn about the Biochar kit as how farmers can use agricultural waste and convert it into activated charcoal, which then can be applied to soil, improving it's quality.
Honey Extraction Demo:
Have you heard that the Bees can actually help to improve the crop yield by way of cross pollination? You can learn a lot from Bees in terms of their organizing skills and communication.
You can participate in sustainable honey extraction. And, if not done so far, you can taste a fresh honey as well.

In todays scenario, Employee volunteer is the practice where employees of a company engage in volunteering activities which creates a positive impact on soceity. It is mutually beneficial practice that enriches both individuals and the organizations they work for.
Employee Volunteering is important because:
